Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Route Tracker's mobile application and web services (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including visitors, registered users, and subscribers.

Description of Service

Route Tracker provides a mileage tracking service that allows users to:

• Track vehicle trips using GPS technology
• Categorize trips as Business or Personal
• Generate mileage reports for tax deductions and reimbursements
• Sync trip data across devices (Pro subscription)
• Manage multiple vehicles (Pro subscription)
• Access trip history via web dashboard

Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. When registering, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your information as necessary
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By registering, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

Subscriptions and Payments

Free Plan: Route Tracker offers a free tier with basic mileage tracking features as described on our pricing page.

Pro Subscription: Additional features are available through a paid Pro subscription. By subscribing to Pro, you agree to:

• Pay the subscription fee as displayed at the time of purchase
• Automatic renewal at the end of each billing period unless cancelled
• Cancellation through your app store account settings (iOS App Store or Google Play)

Subscription prices are subject to change with reasonable notice. Refunds are handled according to the policies of your app store provider.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Use the Service to violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code
• Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others
• Create false or fraudulent mileage records
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

Accuracy of Mileage Data

Route Tracker uses GPS technology to calculate trip distances. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that mileage calculations are 100% accurate. Factors that may affect accuracy include:

• GPS signal quality and availability
• Device hardware and settings
• Environmental conditions
• Building or terrain interference

You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of your mileage records before submitting them for tax deductions, reimbursements, or any other purpose. Route Tracker is not liable for any discrepancies in recorded mileage.

Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, content, and underlying technology, is owned by Route Tracker and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal or business mileage tracking purposes only.

You retain ownership of your trip data. By using the Service, you grant us a license to store, process, and display your data as necessary to provide the Service.

Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the Service, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We do not warrant the accuracy or reliability of any mileage calculations or reports generated by the Service.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ROUTE TRACKER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Route Tracker and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of third parties.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or through the app settings. Upon termination, your data may be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Route Tracker operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
